"We just had our 2 bedroom unit renovated by Novalé--bathroom, powder room, kitchen, flooring, painting, architraves and more--and they are excellent on every level! Professional, talented, detail-oriented and honestly just some of the nicest people you'll meet. I can't recommend them enough-- the owner, design team, site manager and everyone who stepped inside our apt. were excellent. Plus, they make the entire process easy to manage payments and questions and keep you updated daily. So grateful for them all and happy with our now gorgeous place!"

"If you need a bathroom/ kitchen renovation, or in my case, both at the same time, don’t go past Novale’. You will not do better. They are organised down to the last detail. I could not be happier with the result."

"Novale renovated two bathrooms and a laundry for us - a complex process which demanded careful timing and attention to detail. We were impressed by their professional approach to planning the work and helping us with the design and materials selection process (thanks to Jamie-Marie Love). The Buildertrend portal was useful for keeping track of the timeline and invoices, but most of all site manager Marc Cavers kept us in the loop with the various tradies and let us know on a daily basis what work had been completed and what was to come. Marc was unfailingly helpful with queries and problems and both cheerful and a credit to the company."

Our Process

Every renovation runs smoothly when you know what to expect - here's how we make it happen.

01

Consultation

Following your consultation, once you’ve reviewed, accepted and signed your proposal and preliminary agreements, we’ll prepare everything for Pre-Construction.

02

Pre-Construction

This is where you’ll work closely with your pre-construction manager and interior designer, complete your selections service, conduct site checks and audits, and prepare your project for construction.

03

Construction

This is where you’ll meet your dedicated site manager in-home prior to your start date, who will guide and manage your project through to final handover.

04

Handover

You’ll be given time to review your completed renovation, after which we will return to conduct final checks and complete your formal handover.

What Impacts Your Multi-Room Renovation Cost?

Every project is unique. Here’s what can affect the overall cost of your renovation.

Finishes & Materials

The finishes and materials you choose play a big role in shaping your overall budget. From cabinetry to benchtops, each selection can vary widely in price depending on product, quality and durability. Thoughtful choices here allow you to balance style, performance and cost in a way that suits your space and how you live.

Fixtures & Appliances

Fixtures, fittings and appliances across a multi-room renovation will contribute to the overall cost, particularly as selections are made for different spaces and functions. From kitchens and laundries to bathrooms and living areas, each element varies in price depending on quality, performance and design. Choosing cohesive, well-considered pieces throughout helps create a seamless result while keeping your budget aligned with your priorities.

Logistics & Access

Logistics and access can have a meaningful impact on your renovation cost. Factors like site accessibility, parking, building type and the ease of transporting materials all play a role in how efficiently work can be carried out. Projects in tighter or more complex spaces may require additional time, planning and coordination, which can influence the overall investment.

Layout Changes

Modifying your floor plan will add to the final cost of your renovation, particularly when altering the existing footprint, which moves key services. Adjusting walls, reconfiguring spaces or relocating plumbing and electrical elements often requires additional planning and specialised trades. While these changes can greatly improve how your space functions, they can also influence the overall scope and investment.

Size & Complexity

The size and complexity of your project can have a strong influence on the overall renovation cost. Larger spaces often require more materials and labour, while more intricate designs or custom features can add additional layers of detail and coordination. Finding the right balance between scale, functionality and finish helps ensure your renovation aligns with both your vision and budget.

Custom Features

Custom features can add a unique and personalised touch to your renovation, while also adding to the overall cost. Elements such as bespoke cabinetry, tailored storage solutions or one-of-a-kind design details often require specialised craftsmanship and additional time to create. These considered additions can elevate both the look and functionality of your space, shaped around how you live and use it.

Common Questions

What types of projects do you take on?

To ensure a consistent and high-quality outcome, we focus on fully managed, internal renovations. In apartments and homes, we carry out non-structural renovations only. We do not offer partial renovations, roofing works including skylights, landscaping or external works, DA or CDC approval management, or projects outside relevant compliance frameworks. This allows us to maintain a streamlined process and deliver results aligned with our standards.

Will renovating multiple rooms at once be more disruptive?

While multi-room projects involve a broader scope of work, our structured planning and project management approach helps minimise disruption. With clear scheduling, coordinated trades and a dedicated site Manager overseeing the process, we keep everything organised and running smoothly from start to finish.

Do I need to be home or living in the property during renovations?

Not necessarily. Many of our clients choose to remain living in their home, while others prefer to relocate during construction, particularly for larger or multi-room projects. We’ve also worked with clients who have been interstate or overseas during their renovation. With a dedicated Site Manager as your point of contact and full transparency through the Buildertrend app, including daily updates and logs, everything is clearly communicated throughout the process.
